NWIBRT’s Safety Committee collaborated with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) to host the 2017 Winter Safety Seminar on the new SILICA Standard at Purdue University Northwest on December 5th. The Seminar was a huge success, bringing in nearly 100 attendees as well as 10 vendors!

The Safety Committee is comprised of NWIBRT members who contribute to the safety performance of contractors on major projects throughout Northwest Indiana. Committee members are empowered to take action, continuously improving the performance at their own companies as well as those they work with.
