Submissions Open for Hard Hat Golf Outing Donation Recipients
Suggestions are now being accepted for recipients of the charitable donations to be raised from the 2025 Hard Hat Golf Outing, hosted by the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT).
Organizations interested in being considered or those who would like to recommend a recipient can complete the official form on NWIBRT’s website at NWIBRT.org. Deadline for submission is May 30, 2025.
The annual fall event draws hundreds of golfers from many of Northwest Indiana’s most prominent businesses. Last year, representatives from over 70 companies participated in the golf outing for a day of fun and networking on the course, and the opportunity to raise charitable contributions for area nonprofits.
At the 2024 outing, attendees raised $40,000 for four organizations. Meals on Wheels, Tradewinds, Goodwill, and Pink Ribbon Society each received a $10,000 donation for their organization. In addition, Tradewinds received an additional $10,000 through a matching grant from the Lilly Endowment, bringing last year’s total contributions through the golf outing to $50,000.
The 2025 Hard Hat Golf Outing will be held Sept. 18 and 19 at the White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point. Due to the growing popularity of the event, this year’s golf outing has been expanded to two days. Tickets and partnership opportunities are available on the website. Those with questions about tickets or sponsorships can call 219.226.0300 or email info@nwibrt.org. Early registration is encouraged as the event sells out quickly.
